Live concerts are staged throughout the year, principally at the church of St. Nicholas on the Old town Square (one of the oldest churches in the Old Town area of Prague), or at theatres Semafor and Metro. Four further concerts are held at the school during the year, with typically 20 smaller concerts supplementing these.
In the summer the school helps put on the international festival of spiritual music at the church of St. Nicholas on the Old town Square in Prague.

The children musical "White Butterfly":

Snímek 2
For Advent 2007 the school premiered the original children's musical „White Butterfly". This was a unique project, designed to bring together talented children 7-16 years in age, to produce a collective work of art. Thanks to this project the children were able to show-off their abilities, and they gained valuable experience performing before a live audience. 60 children were directly involved in staging this performance! White Butterfly was composed by Jakub Nygrýn who teaches at the school. Preparations started in the spring of 2007 with initial castings for the individual children's roles. The musical is set in the natural wilderness of the Tatry mountains, and as such the characters themselves, including the principle pair, Janek and Jasoňka are drawn from Tatry flora and fauna. In the Autumn of 2007 a CD of the musical performance was released. The opening night followed in December 2007 in Prague, with a further performance in spring 2008 at Theatre Illusion, also in Prague. Then on June 1, 2008 the musical was successfully staged in Berlin with German subtitles. This activity was sponsored by the energy supplying firms Vemex, Gazprom Export, and Gazprom Germania as part of the project Kids for Kids. Further performances are already planned for the spring of 2009 at the Prague theatres Semafor and Metro and in the near future we will also be premiering the musical in English.

When staging concerts or similar cultural activities the school works closely with young artists

for example the Happy Day Quintet, the chamber choirs Resonance and  Prážata, the Malé Vinohradské Theatre etc.
The school is able to provide a complete „turnkey" service for the staging of concerts or other cultural events (selecting subject material, compare/moderator, contractual agreements with the artist(s), royalties with OSA, Graphic design and printing of posters, tickets etc, and all promotion) all in consultation with the interested party.

Our school enjoys a family atmosphere between the teaching staff, pupils and parents. This provides an environment ideal for learning but also encourages personal growth in our future generation of artists.
Our priority is to nurture natural talents and we try to awaken a joy in personal achievement. Our goal is to be a modern school with happy students who achieve a high standard, and who will continue to pursue a musical „career", either through amateur performance, or continued study at a special conservatory.
